i doubt there are songs composed entirely on the sk1, probably used for some sounds or something. It's just a crappy sampler right? I imagine it'd be hard to pinpoint a track and be like "ah, that's an sk1 track" dunno though . |

before i yielded to reality, i was thinking about putting together an EP called ludicrous speed to release on riced out records. just four or so high-tempo acid jobs. one track called "operation desert twerk" is perfect; i'll hang on to that. more tryoubling is "matryoshka" (collage2) (master) (collage) (another) () this is one of those pissers. i've heard other musicians complain about the same moment: you've been working on the track eleven hours, and you should have cut the recording three hours ago. now you're tired and the works are unraveling and you've gotten three or six takes that are all a no-go for some reason. then you try and take a nap and no, you're out, so then you try and bodge bits of the best parts into a single vision of what you wanted but it's a fucking mess and now you have six copies of a song you didn't get right instead of one. this is why i had a "no-edit" rule. stereo mixdown and gtfo contains absolutely no sk-1. |
