Since Phobiazero hinted that this site might be remade or somehow redone, list some suggestions as to what you think would improve the site, make it work or function better, etc. My suggestion: Keep everything more or less the same except widen everything into the "extended site space" so the text in threads takes up the whole width of the screen. The design of the site seems so old that it was optimized for 800x600 screens or something. Avatars could be made a bit bigger possibly, but I still think they should be smallish and unobtrusive. |

I would actually like if the site was kept as is, but that the right side was used as a ajax live-feed of everything that is posted. Like: 2015-01-27 18:54: luceatluxxe posted the topic "XLT site upgrade suggestions", perhaps with a bit of the text, and then you'd be able to click right into the post/topic. In that way you wouldn't be forced to use that damn browser-refresh, and the site would be more active. |

bigger avatars would just be ugly fixing the the sometimes-fucked-up wordbreaks, cleansing the site from use of html tables and a mobile-version is much more interesting |

I'm thinking just plain grey'ish text in the ajax feed, on top of the dark grey background (of course without the +260 line). Getting people away from refreshing the site all the time might actually help on server load (right Phobia?). |

Yeah, can it be exactly like WATMM? Also it would be a good idea to make it compulsory to pay in order express yourself. Maybe something new, for 1 euro you get 100 posts, for 3 you get 500. I think the site is fine as it is. Considering the amount of paying users. |

I think that instead of clamouring for XLT v2 (3?) maybe leave "the bible" as it is, and instead embrace add ons, or plugins. I am currently coding up "Zilty", and extension for Chrome (and hopefully Firefox), which is the equivalent of a "desktop helper" in the guise of an animated nude lady that uses "body language" to illustrate the level of irony (or "snark") in individual posts. |

thanks foht. i write some essay-stuff , but it's generally hard to work up the motivation to put that much effort into something i'm doing for free. i like forums for being the writing equivalent of junk-food; something i can do on the go and enjoy. i don't think phobs needs any help. as i've said before, all i really wanted was the broken stuff (like avatars) fixed, and he seems on that. i donated $30 instead. it'd be nice to be kicked over to the premium group for that, so i could attach images, but i'm not sweating the details -- he didn't pull the plug, he fixed the broken stuff, so we're good |
