I'm thinking "please don't fuck it up!" and then rented a petting cat. As it sat on my lap pretending to care, I realised that Lynch doesn't fuck up., he just does Lynch.
So happy but I'm not in a rush.
Yes, Hardnodes, I rate Twin Peaks as one of the best TV series ever. This is yet another wonderful excuse to watch it all again.

I tried to rewatch peaks over netflix a couple years ago and it was a huge letdown for a couple reasons, one being that I was a lot younger when it actually aired and there was no internet, this contributed to a lot more mystery and intrigue towards it, and also now all the hipster toolbAgs who use Laura Palmer as their avatar and all the typical annoying endless douchey commentary on it on "cool" messageboards, very much like this exact thread and aphex twin tools

The "mystery" part isn't what it was all about. Anyway the network ruined that by asking for the killer to be revealed. They thought the public wanted to know. Idiot(s).

i only watched twin peaks a few years ago but i think it being 20 years after probly made it better than it would of been when it came out cuz of a bigger sense of detatchment..... can it work in 2016??? i dunno maybe, PARTS of true detective and the leftovers touched similar complex emotions
i just hope its not some self absorbed historical crap like mad men

Oh, once you dance a brain, Everyone will browse your way-so, You must maintain your mix, Same time maintain your flow, Just pitch the perfect bend, Plus synths found in the bin, Then next his ears are squint, Then he's bandcamped your scent

You're such a misery guts, wavephace! There's no feud. It was banter usually but it seems he's so incapable of wit sometimes it's gotten personal.
Epicmegatrax, I don't share any music online and the only stuff I shared online with a few friends was around 2-3 years ago and it was old patterns from an SD card I found in a QY 100 that I edited in an afternoon. It was intended as private. I guess I never took it down. Damn!
I really have no issues with you not liking it. It's the way you do it that is so lame. Kids in playgrounds have better come backs.
You're creepy you know?
You go ahead and dance in your chorus of lols, alone.

i'd never imagined that referencing the lyrics to a 2003 Kelis track could cause so much confusion. it's not even a b-side or anything, man. in fact, "Milkshake" is bordering on a cultural artifact. it's important, yo. like that snoop dawg video with black and white bentleys at 45 degree angles. all sorts of world-firsts on that one, i.e. first time rap used a slide whistle as a vocoder in the chorus section

Twin Peaks went off the boil when Lynch and Frost had other commitments, left it in the hands of others who introduced way too many secondary characters and turned it into some weird comedy show (though it was still good) with aimless plotlines that weren't thought through ahead: a nine-show deal (roughly the same as the pilot + season one) with all episodes directed by Lynch and written by Frost bodes extremely well - I can't wait to see what they deliver.

Is it too long for them to repeat/ carry on from the brillance they created...
i don't know, but if I was a betting man i'd guess these fucks are just too good to not deliver.
