I didn't win. For the moment.

Some winners already selling their copy for around 2000
€.

Also, two copies on eBAY for around 500 € at the moment.

Its weird how people fetishise what is essentially fancy
packaging when the only thing with intrinsic value to my
mind is the actual music;

I honestly don't know why they didn't sell these at 2000
euros in the first place - the whole thing's a con that
either ends up on eBay or gets bought by people who have
that sort of money as small change. I don't think it's very
cool.

This fan stuff has been getting out of hand lately.

by the way it's $500 on ebay, not euros

If you consider the shipping costs, you get near 500 € on
both bids.

theres an extra tune in it, isnt it? has it already leaked?

No extra tune, per say, but there is some sort of "printed
tune" on a piece of paper. Not sure what that means, does it
need to be scanned in via high res then decoded with
software? Sort of gimmicky.

At least the Drukqs audiophile edition was printed on virgin
vinyl, some sort of incentive.

A perspex case can easily be duplicated at a plastic shoppe
- I have one local to me that could probably spit these out
for $50 a pop.

My twin brother won; he gave me the code to buy it.
Hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow. No intention of selling it.
I like having stuff other people don't :)

oh ok,
so its not even a paperboard with the track printed like a
vinil so that you can play it in a turntable?

Good point: those were the days when money was still less
important than the music.
