0:28 is more accurate, or is it like a famous preset or
something ???

so they moved this massive coal slag heap off this mountain
by my friends house, finished last winter, and now there's
loads of lush grass and TONNES OF SHROOMS growing there, but
never were around there before, so my other question is, do
mushroom spores stay virile for like 70 years, time capsule
magees ??

i think spores are carried in the wind like pollen so they
probably settled there very quickly, i know some forms of
fungi have networks that persist for years underground.

i wish they did, but they are usually quite localised/
patchy, everyone has their 'spots' & dont tell anyone, but,
suddenly, here's a new one! popping up like mushrooms indeed

i thought it was quite good and also aphex. however,
most sites have the track listing backwards, and the mix is
kind of quiet muddy shit.

heard minipops on decent speakers 2nite and it was fucking
amazing,
having said that how are your hot glue sculptures?

etsy is on my to-do list, but no idea if i'll get to it any
time soon. trying to concentrate on things that actually
have a prayer of making money.

syro sounds like he sampled himself in several sounds, to
me

i also like the rdj album feeling of most tunes/moments

Except this is one of the best releases that would fit
within the "braindance" genre of ALL TIMES. If you do not
agree, you are either deaf or have shit taste objectively
speaking. You need to listen to the EP until you like it,
it's the only way to fix your taste. If you still do not
enjoy it, then go to a very tall building, open the window
and jump. You can thank me later.

Some are still adamant it's Tom Jenkinson.

Defo IMO. I confirm. Have both of all records. Definately TJ
bass-spanker.

well, that insane fast tune smells like TJ, but i always
thought it sounded more like a collab thing, with afx and
other people. Also hidding the identity is more an afx thing
than TJ, who more egocentristic in his attitude

steinvord is not rdj or tj, not even slightly, steinvord is
a separate independant (younger) person (from an entirely
separate country), without an extensive discography.

Steinvord doesn't seem to be a real collaboration of James
and Jenkinson, it seems like they both contributed separate
tracks. Every song sounds like Aphex OR Squarepusher, not
both.

first time i heard steinvord ( 2008?? ) & people were sayin
that i was like "have u gone deaf" . . etc. up until i heard
that sound, and it was buggin me
aye could be a preset, could be this that or the other all i
know is my brain put those TWO sounds together

offline steve mcqueen from caerdydd (United Kingdom) on 2014-10-08 00:58 [#02477281]

steinvord one so fucking IGNORE THIS THREAD

i thought the little filter 'pop' slides & that on it made
it sound unique, & must be from a patch of some sorts but
actually, could easily be a sample set or something that i
haven't heard in anything else
