not what i'd expected, but in some way the new windowlicker
for me

it has that really fluid nineties Aphex vibe that i've
missed in the analord series

Those minipops are crisp!

This pretty much confirms the xmaseve track is the metz
track.

Good job Richard

it really brings nostalgia of a very special Aphex place

offline Combo from Sex on 2014-09-06 10:57 [#02475963]

It is a good track. I won't say it is a killer though. Not
on par with "Windowlicker", "Come to daddy" or "Girl/Boy
Song". It sounds more like "Funny little man", "Milkman" or
lots of his other enjoyables B-side tracks, for which we
love him.

Happy with it, nice mix of his back catalogue. Not a total
killer track no, but like Junk says gave me a very odd sense
of nostalgia - like I was back on XLT thirteen years ago
listening to Druqks, talking shit. The melody in the second
half keeps popping into my head at random moments, which is
nice - at least it keeps out the last song from the movie
Frank, which is also popping into my head randomly and
driving me nuts. Fiddly digits!

I was at the London listening party, I did not know what 2
expect but was actually a really fun atmosphere, everyone
excited and getting drunk, jumping about.
Album just gets better and better, sounds like yet another
fucking masterpiece, ginger kunt.

that takes me back to when i first listened to JAS and there
was a fade that perfectly matched bleeps' style of pulling
the rug out from under you. hilarious, really. it worked
perfectly; i had some pavlovian reaction like i do with
things that sound like my alarm clock.
