You know the television quiz show Mastermind right, where the contestants choose their subject and then get quizzed on that, right, yeah? No? It's like, let's say, you considered yourself and expert on, I don't know, the novels of Thomas Pynchon. So you write to Mastermind and you say, "Dear Mastermind, I think I am an expert on the insufferable and unreadable novels of Thomas Pynchon, please test me on this" and they make you do a middling test and if you are not bullshitting then they'll get their researchers to concoct quite testing questions and you go and the TV and... you know, answer them.
