I bought the album for £8.08 and I really like it, very
atmospheric.

Lol.

He/she/it/dinosaur only signed up to lol, after
witnessing the brilliant nuances of the xltronic userbase.
Either that, or nobody is lolworthy.

And when signeduptolmao and signeduptorofl join, they'll
express the same sentiment to different magnitudes.

You don't have to tell me why he signed up, I've seen the
handle, I've read the name.

But lately, his lols seem to have become mere afterthoughts.

Where's the fizz, where's the pizazz, where's the pure
excitement of those early lols?

I've thought about it - I take it all back. He's still the
best.

Just because I couldn't grasp his later lols, I blamed the
author for my inability to understand.

Also: what is Cro Magnox?

signeduptolol hasn't sold out, yet. When he's lolling on a
corporate dime, you can diss him.

It's a lovely album btw. Much more soothing than the usual
madcap acid. It's got a lovely retro and cinematic feel.

on the track 'cro..' where it drops out & the tune is
implied ...
love the contrast between his goofy acid stuff and when he
gets all emotional,makes everything better

just bought it on bandanacamp.... natural spectrum, the cro
magnox track and forest zone 303 is really good. i think you
guys are hyping it a bit too much tho'. it's not that
good an album, but it is pretty decent... some of the tracks
could be longer/progressive, and other tracks could be cut,
for it to gel for me

It's barely discussed in this thread! No idea what you're on
about. I certainly didn't rave about it. But thought it was
worth pointing out it might please those who associate his
work with his acid and don't enjoy it that much.

Only about four posts of this thread were about the album...
Junktion thinks that's hype. I don't know what to think, any
more.

I did use 10 "e"s when I said I loved the album, maybe
that's Junktion's idea of over hyping?

apparently i scrolled too fast to the reply, and didn't
sniff the ironic overuse of 'e's.

but there has been hype here on the board, and
there's a lot of people commenting the album on bandcamp
too...

at least my theory, titled "posting music related topics on
xltronic gets less or equal the response you get for being
bad at posting topics" was proved right.

And by that is all, I mean I submit a plea for the removal
of 'Quincy's Classic' from this album. I'm not saying it's
bad, I'm just saying it's bloody jarring in the middle of
this album.

It feels like a "you've made it to the middle of the album!"
barrier to entry - blocking the second act for those to
weak-willed to continue.

It's definitely his best album since 'UAE,' not including
'Live,' but that's not on cassette, but that was released
after 2012.

Unfortunately my enjoyment of the album is tainted by
Ceephax's omission from any NME 'cool' lists since such
things started. Shame.

Ceephax is a corny tit. He knows how to work his hardware
but his sense of melody is wack as fuck

during an acid trip on a train journey

Don't be so snobby! This is a great album, you guys expect
too much these days, which will only lead to disappointment.

We've all been spoiled with "excellent" electronic music
over the years, to the point where when we get "great"
electronic music, we no longer recognize just how great it
is.

So we should rename this site to 'Great electronic music"
