i know that you're a novelty account and i can't take that
"lol" to be anything but utterly meaningless, but you make
me feel good about myself

If it has taken this long for you to feel embarrassed about
posting here, you've been doing it wrong.

Do individual dupe accounts feel embarrassment on their own
time-scale?

I'd guess it's cumulative, or maybe even exponential.

I'd like to see the graphs. Plot "shame" and "number of
dupes" with "time".

I'd like to see "average shitness of each dupe's post"
included in there too

I don't even have enough personality for one account, I
don't know how people can spread their's so thinly.

arguably, increased shame decreases desire to post on XLT,
so we can use a weighted, moving average to generate a shame
plot for any given account.

a more complicated level of analysis is required to generate
an equivalent shame plot for someone who cycles through a
series of dupe accounts. without being able to accurately
determine dupe clusters, we're reduced to blending up a
bunch of eyeballed heuristics ("posts when it's daytime in
europe" "does not use capital letters" etc) with some
optimization algorithm (use overlaps + the lack thereof to
establish most likely clusters) into a joint probability
smoothie just to even produce a handful of plots
representing the clusters that most likely represent
singular actors. it's just a guess, though -- many of them
may actually be pools of individuals mistaken for a cluster,
as there's no way to distinguish a cluster of rotating dupes
from the typical XLT poster who talks manic trash for five
minutes and then takes five months off to be depressed. even
worse, some of these dupes may be bots, and as such, we
can't rely on any of this.

bottom line, i'm not implementing any of this unless i'm
paid by the hour, or at least cut in on the dubturbo
profits. a year ago i'd have done it on spec for XLTs
future, but since freqy left life has felt so meaningless

I'm pretty sure that graph would produce pure News

EpicMegatrax, I was going to read what you said, but I've
just finished my noodles.

if you enjoy my posts, that makes me happier than i would be
otherwise... but, if you do not enjoy my posts, go ahead and
skip over 'em. any other way simply wouldn't suit xlt

now it's time for jivver or someone to pop in and say "don't
worry, i do [skip over them]." perhaps preemptively
mentioning this will cause the waveform differently. perhaps
not.

Stop analysing for a few minutes and stare at the clouds.
They move, and everything!
