I always wanted a Vectrex console. I've never seen one
anywhere.

I wish Bill Burroughs (the XLT account, not the dead author)
was more of a friend to me. I think we'd get on.

cow orker at a company i worked for had one on his desk. he
turned it on to show me it worked; some triangles. we

What kind of company allows employees to have a Vectrex
console on their desk? I think I would have held on there.
I barely get away with having a single serving sachet of
screen wipe on my desk - shit just gets cleared away (well,
I don't mind so much the shit getting cleared away).

Yes it's become a little like that. Since 2008-01-26 14:20
precisely.

Nah, xlt is the sensitive person that seems uptight and rude
because he's too shy. It wants firends but inadvertently
pushes them away.OK it also bites. Or looks and acts like a,
erm, douche to use an appropriate term.

A shrink, yes, or indeed any sentient being, would suggest,
wholly accurately, that you'd just described yourself to
a fucking tee
.

10 years ago xlt was the same shit, mangz. It was just more
varied and had more people to contribute to the
retardedness.

There were some epic threads, though. So I say xltronic has
become... itself.

Like to some cachectic cracked out old man who can barely
move his body-- "Dude, you used to be an awesome, hardcore
rockstar-- what the fuck happened?" No, no- that is the
natural progression of a hardcore rockstar. Nothing
"happened".

I would be surprised if xltronic became all clean and actual
version 2~5'd, all web 2.5'd, fucking invisible menus and
snazzy with social and ghey integration of anus. Then I
would be like "whoa".

word to that

BUT also I blame people like Woofy: got married, got kids,
no time for weekly polls. shame.

the IDM generation moved on to middle-age home comfort. "no
new aphex" fuck him ! who needs new Aphex when you got
plethora of music to listen. just like RDJ himself once
said: there's so much music to get to know that there's not
enough life to check it.

we humans just get lazy and facebook is enough for us. end
of story.

not even new version of dubturbo can move our hearts these
days.

ok I'll better stop here.

there. no tridenti around anymore = I tend to forget how
useful those are
