I dunno about you lot but the incessant ammount of new stuff coming out and aimed at us lot is overwhelming and boring. The more the better is something i don't believe in one bit. Not in this field. Soon the talent will be completely swallowed and uniqueness become a rare thing. |

I don't like touch pad things like that. I want big clunky fuckers like you get on 1980s computers. I always find that you never know whether or not you have actually activated a touch pad thing. Might just be my calloused blue-collar hands and fingers which don't lend themselves to things designed to be sensitive to poncy manicured hipster finger skin lol? |

i think what you'll find is that these devices will become like sneakers: sold by celebrity tie-ins, product placement, etc. a few kids will buy them to look cool, but it won't stick around. it will go in and out like fashions. you got that technics 12 dawg? you got those dre beats dawg? you did you try the beat kangz beat thang that thing is dope it has underbody lighting and hydraulics bro in the end, it won't change anything. the people that have a knack for music will eventually see past the equipment, even if they start on utter dreck like a beat thang. the people that don't will dick around with the beat thang for a few months before bunging it in the attic and getting a job in the insurance biz. so microsoft finally got to the 00s; made a usb controller. it's probably alright to use, but it'll be tied to their crappy software (can anyone send me a copy of microsoft songsmith? really want to mess with that!). it's also tied to their (likely) doomed hardware. but i link it anyways, because i'm waiting for a video of steve ballmer DJing. |
