what's good?

MUSICS: last i heard the latency for music apps on android
was a bit shit, has that changed?

MEDIAS: surprisingly hard to locate a satisfying mp3 player.
suggestions>

DRAWING: it has this wonderful capacitive fondleglass and i
have no apps with which to crudely draw penises.

OTHER: anything cool

thx.

goneMAD musicplayer is the shit. Beats the hell out of the build
in player, and has true gapless playback - also supports
FLAC, covers and much more.

Besides that app there's not really much for me. I tend to
feel apps just take up wastefull space. gString Tuner is
really to only other non-google app that I use.

I actually liked Winamp on my android shitphone but it kept
crashing so I switched over to poweramp, which is still
kinda bad.

I've tried the winamp app, but it was hard on the resources
and didn't have gapless (which is a big importance for me).

The Photoshop app is kinda neat too.

i just use Google Music and stream my whole library. Can't
be bothered to switch out 6 GB of music every few weeks, I'd
just end up listening to the same album for months on end.

is that free, or will i have to put quarters in for each of
my 10k mp3s?

i only use it to play music in the car, and, well, no reason
to copy over music that ain't good in the car. SAW II would
have me zoning out at green lights, horns startling me out
of a daze

i've been using winamp, but winamp won't let me browse by
folder... why not?! otherwise, it's alright. i'll give
goneMAD a look.

what are the limits on the photoshop app? with adobe, free
is never free

totally free! upload up 20k songs and stream them anywhere
at 320 kbps (depending on your connection). you can even
redownload your library if you lose it.

Don't confuse it with Google Play Music tho, which is the
spotify-like subscription thing they just launched, cuz you
do pay for that.

goneMad is all "14 day trial." probably should have
mentioned i mean "free" apps. have avoided putting a credit
card into the little fucker so far; would like to keep it
that way.

...and, there is fruityloops for android?!

fruityloops is for android yes - also costs.

I would suggest you try the 14 day trial, since you get all
functions. At least you can see how smooth it is, until you
try 10 other apps and decide that gonMad was the money worth
;) I've been using it for over a year now - best 4 bucks I
ever spend.

my only problem with winamp is i can't figure out how to
browse by folder. anyone know if it can do that?

other than that, we're good. i don't care about flac or
gapless. i figure there's a free one that'll do the job, and
winamp is already quite suitable if all the other free ones
are worse. don't see a reason to buy anything.
