Hey.

Does anyone know any interesting recent cassette labels /
releases worth checking out ?

I just stumbled across the whole land of cassette labels and
some being quite interesting but there's dozens of them and
i thought maybe someone have any suggestions ?

A lot of them are just noise, i wonder if there's someone
putting out some nice electronic music on cassettes and if
putting out idm on cassettes is making sense to some at all
?

cheers !

my homie has put out some stuff on this label, super blunted
crunchy hip hop beats

rather special.

really like weird tape compression wafting wobbliness.

its quite like a plugin i once used to use. A vocoder thing,
that can blend tracks together in weird bizarre ways.

Yeh Fah, put some more interesting stuff out !

I find Dirty Tapes interesting label, as well as Further
Records, however these being US based and everything's
pretty much sold out. We need more cassette labels coming
from Europe !

The last cassette only I bought was this.

You can listen to the entire first side of it
here.

It's very nice and worth owning :-)

Thanks for the bleep link, had no idea that kuedo record was
on cassette. Has that album spawned a sub-genre yet?
Surprised if not.

I've buried my old USB-stick 64MB mp3 player in a box in the
garden, in anticipation of their comeback in the 2040s

is there any truth in the thing that say, if you launched a
record into space, aliens would have an easier time decoding
it (whatever that may mean) than a CD?
thinking about that, that's a fucking rabbit hole
