because of the internets, TV/Radio ads don't bring in as much cash for the station as they used to. their reaction has been to double the amount of ads... which is sort of like printing more money because your country is in debt. meanwhile, the internets is full of ads, and people do all they can to block those, too. again, the response is typically just to double-down, put up twice as many ads. so, i think the energies are shaping up for some sort of backlash. it will probably swell up a bit more, then burst in some public hate catharsis where no-ad movements are a thing for six months. then things will go back to normal, probably. i am still waiting for some video billboard ad company to get sued for causing a traffic accident. |

Although we all romanticize that the place is full of acne scarred virgins (not even a kiss), most people who post here are parents (and yes even those that post regularly).
