Since google stole his songs and put them for free on
youtube, I don't even have to buy it! Thanks google! Oh, and
they sell his music too, I see you can buy it on some sort
of google or amazon platform, both of which take a huge
chunk of profit if not all of it. Screw using a freedom
respecting medium like bitcoin to keep 100% of the profit
without giant parasites.

I've only heard Cautella but that was pretty intense IDM.
The first track sounded like the sounds a space probe would
make when visiting some new planet. I remember reading about
that Huygens probe that landed on Saturn's moon around the
time I first heard that album, and it reminded me of what
that probe must have seen when it went through the
atmosphere of the moon. One of my best trips ever lol

I read somewhere that he is/was a mathematician - you can
tell from his musics

not that much intriguing about this one. it lacked soul,
mood, melody. it needed a backdrop for all it's technical
rhythms.

The only proper way to listen to Richard Devine, is in a
room with white plastic walls, white plastic ceiling, white
marble floor, all white light, sitting in a grey leather
recliner at a tiny wooden desk in the middle of the 10mx10m
room; on table is nothing but amp and playback controls,
wires under floor. The speakers are at the 4 corners, the
sub woofer is under the floor. One has to wear some
one-piece thing that looks like a wetsuit.

Holy shit, da fuk. Well... black floor=Alec Empire...?
That's uh... That's a pretty nice workspace, but you'd
think he was making minimal techno in there.
