Scatman John was and still is one of the true originators of
the Scat-House sound. I'm sure all of us here would like to
see a little repectfull nod to his work in the up coming
Project X.

The lyrical majesty of Whigfield get's me everytime, get's
me right there in the centre of my heart.

'Saturday night dance, I like the way you move...Pretty
baby...'

I don't know whether to dance like an electrocuted octopuss
or to tell my family how much I really love them.

John has received "Best New International Artist of the
Year" in Japan. More than 2 million copies of the Scatman
album have been sold in Japan alone.

The A&R people at the record company must have shat their
pants when they first saw the Tom Seleck look-a-like busting
his poetic wizadry in underground clubs. He's got 'Star'
written all over him, literally.

S.C.A.T.

Solar Composting Advanced Toilet

The Solar Composting Advanced Toilet is designed to recycle
human excrement and urine into a relatively dry and
deodorized compost which can be safely and easily applied to
the immediately surrounding landscape.
The S.C.A.T. is a self-contained freestanding structure
using inexpensive convenient organic materials such as peat
moss or sawdust to promote effective composting. Earthworms
provide mixing and aeration, eliminating the need for a
rotating drum. A durable watertight plastic bin in the solar
chamber has enough capacity for 4-6 persons in daily use.
Easy access to the compost bin simplifies emptying at 6-12
month intervals, depending on loading.

Straight from www.solartoilet.com ....

You couldn't make this shit up if you tried...

even dictionary.com defines scat as a form of excrement;
animal dung....

and I thought that "He will be missed by all" comment at
Scatmans Johns site to be a bit misleading...I'm fucking
glad he's dead!!! If I knew where his grave was, I'd go have
a bit of scat on it...

so 'scatman john' really translates to 'shitman john.

that is unfortunate to say the least.

"Here are some statistics from MUSIC AND MEDIA (HOLLAND) as
of November 27, 1995.
TOP SELLING ARTISTS....SINGLES (combined single
sales)
1. Rednex
2. Scatman John"...

Poor old Holland...Rednex at no 1, Scatman at 2...;)...

So much for the Dutch being the coolest country in the
EU...and they say the drug experiment there has worked!!!
These figures tell a very different story....

But very apt...

I always found it a little funny at the time that no-one
noticed...you'd think someone would have had a quiet word
with him, really...

I wonder if JOYREX would consider adding him to the 4 groups
he's covering with the new WATMM.com site....I think he
should...we should email him...
