Does anyone know any info on what equipment Richard used on
Selected Ambient Works 85-92?

Also any concrete info on the production of the tracks,
where they were made, which year, that kind of thing would
be interesting.

Thanks a lot

I found a great Future Music scan that goes through it all
http://bytenoise.co.uk/The_Aphex_Effect.jpg
excellent detailed article

short answer is here
Casio FZ-10M,DX-100 (missing keys'n'all),
SH-101, Quadraverb, Atari 520ST with bust
keyboard(!), odd keyboards, bits of old
electrical equipment, 8+ turntables, one
borrowed mixer(!), bits of audio gear (all
cleverly balanced on some lucozade cans,
hand-sprayed JBL's suspended from ceiling
by industrial strength chain.

apparently mikus had to take it in his own hands because
none of us here know shit about anything (or want to share
what we know)...
The real question is: Why did you ask us in the first place?
This is clearly a place for trolling more than talking about
how to make music (though I've been hoping for the latter to
return).

why does it matter? do you want to use it yourself? it's not
even a particularly good kit. not compared to some he's
done.... more curious how "taking control" came about. heard
some noises about concussor drum modules.

or you meant "kit" as in "gear" and not "drum kit"

that's a bit more interesting.
