I enjoy a good-natured snipe fest as much as anyone, but I like to study up on my quarry before going in for the kill and it seems to me that all of you limeys here that whine about America get your news spoon fed to you from The Sun page 3 or whatever. I just got back from the US again. 95% of it is a fucking dump. Miami needs to be erased off of the face of the earth. England is a glorious green land where you always feel safe because of all the CCTV cameras and everyone is really welcoming because they call you 'mate' even if they're going to stab your cock off. |

Yeah Miami is an odd one. I remember when Stephen Fry did his cab tour of the USA, the only complaint i remember is Miami. He really hated it and wasn't shy in letting people know. Never been to Vegas and i don't plan to. |

Sorry bud, but there is more to the US than Vegas and Miami. You have to keep in mind your country can fit in a couple of our states. I laughed at your bit about "mate" and stabbing Cocks off. Each time I've been over there I've felt the same. I sensed a passive aggressive energy in the drunk youths milling about like they were bitter and just waiting for a riot to break out. It was unsettling, and I was afraid to pick my nose because of the cameras. |

I like and i'm fascinated with a lot of America. I've lived there and have great memories. I don't feel i really need to mention this as it seems obvious, but there's some amazing people there. It's true the brits tend to focus on the negatives, but then you fell in the trap while talking about England. Lots of great artists in the US too. |

San fransisco as a nipper and later on in Danville (in California). Spent time in LA and New York though from what i hear NY has really changed since i've last been. I plan to go back. I didn't travel for six years because i became scared of planes. Last time i travelled to England was for the Ae ATP. I visit family in Greece when i can. I got over the plane thing when i realised this fear was caused by my ego. |

Here's a list of places in America where I had a really lovely time: Washington DC New York Philadelphia Mobile Florence Austin I still haven't spent more than a few hours in San Francisco. That will change in a couple of weeks. Also what the fuck is up with yankee water? Within three days of being in that country my digestive system is just in ruins. I figure it's the water because it just does not matter what you eat, you shit lumpy liquid. Also if you spend more than a week in London something similar happens, you begin to shit differently. Must be the water there too. |
