What was your first techno?
in 1994 a friend of mine gave me "Blueprints for Modern Technology (v 1)" on a cassette tape. At first I hated it. It was like nothing I'd heard before filled with robot noises but after a few listens through it set in. a couple months later at a record store I recognized the Plus 8 logo on some records and ended up buy Technarchy and "From Our Minds to Yours (v 1)."
those were magical times. nobody around me even knew what 'techno' was and the look on their faces was priceless when I'd push play and turn up the volume.
so.....what was your first techno?

Probably some Eurodance than commercial club music on MTV. Than mp3s became fashionable and i just downloaded music on napster - commercial dance music, idm and techno.

I'm thinking it was Orbital's Halcyon + On + On during the credits of Mortal Kombat (1994). I was 9 at the time.

Actually, that's one of my first as well. Good memory. Forgot about that shit. In the 80's techno was actually more themed than a 4x4 ting. Like the Miami Vice theme... that's some sort of palm tree Florida bikini 80's bush techno.
Ahhh, 80's bush techno..... Making a comeback, y'all. It's the bandwagon after footwork and kneeslap-breakz.
