Yes so what the fuck is this album all about? I'm
scratching my head and balls right here right now.

First three tracks are great, I get a bit freaked out after
that.

i thought that was one of those threads rebumped from the
old days...

same reaction i got 10 ago, ultratech,
i thought it was a dark and strange album,
until someone stole it from me...
i didnt care too much,
but confield certainly was the beggining of something...

Do you agree with this: the first track is SHIT
Then track 2 or 3 is quite good actually
And every track stays the same for 6 minutes at a time with
a funked beat
Theres no A-B-A-B just AAAAAA

2 and 3 are best obvs, but first track is still cool. Has
more of a mysterious atmosphere than the later ones, which
have more of a WTF?! atmosphere. I think that makes sense. I
am high though.

best album of all time as far as i'm concerned. nothing else
has ever come as close to sounding like an alien landscape.
the sensations and mindscapes this album provokes are
nothing short of transcendental.

imo most tracks are more of one long A-B. linear musical
structures are way more interesting to me.

training myself on this with psychedelics when i was in high
school has enabled me to tolerate pretty much anything,
musically speaking :P

i'd like to try DMT, but i don't want to fuck around sketchy
internet sites and i have no talent for juicing seeds in my
kitchen.

Nah that makes sense... I can listen to most autechre in
normal situations. Confield and bits of quaristice are
different though, it's proper listening music, not just
normal music. It TAKES YOU ON A JOURNEY. Supposed to sit in
a dark room for that shit. Like Sunn o))) yo

it's just an album
they're just a band
i regretted buying the album at first but with time i
learned to appreciate Those Structures

it's even more interesting than e.g. Quaristice (sorry ae
guys but i know you give a fuck squared as long there's
currency coming in :)

I reckon it's the pinnacle of Autechre's vision of combining
abstraction of structure and sounds with innate musicality
and relatable emotions. 'Cfern' got me into the album's
sound, then Sim Gishel, and from there the slow-fuck tracks
have just hit home more and more over time, to the point
that the whole thing has become an hour that I love to set
aside for myself now and again to let it take over my brainz
