how long dies it take (approximately) to send a 4 min 128kbs mp3 by smoke signal? if i am on a hill top and flaperty flap a blanket over a fire and have a big smoke plume as '1' and a tiny smoke plume as a '0' a slow rate of course to do this, which i waft the smoke say @ .1 bits per second lets say approx 10 seconds to send one coherent bit. 10 (secs) x 128,000 kbs = 1,280,000 seconds to send 1 second of 128kps mp3 1,280,000 x 240secs (4mins) = 307200000 secs to send 4mins of 128kps mp3 approx 307200000 secs or 5120000 mins or 85333 hours or 3555 days 9.741248097 years! take into consideration 12 hours of day light and sleep time and din dins and toilet etc.. say a 12 hour working day on the project. haha approx 19.482496195 years to send a 4 min 128kbs mp3. i await abuse, as i do not know what i am talking about. love freqy x |
