did you ask him something about "electroacustic music" or
did you just accuse him of stealing your parking spot?

I asked him about electroacustic music and club music. I
also complimented on the music he created. I really like
some of his works cuz it reminds me of Autechre especially
the Confield album.

not that i'd know from experience or anything, but dissociative
trips do seem to make you acutely tune into the harmonics of
a recording.

i decided to write some electroacoustic music, since it is
an idle saturday and i am of good health.

i constructed a spinning contraption containing over eleven
thousand microphones, and surrounded them in a radome of
speakers. various feedback and manipulation controls were at
my command.

i can't stop thinking

No one here knows anything about music. This is sad,
considering TASTE is the very defining element of a
personality.

I just can't write a reply to this guy. I am too shy. I just
don't feel worthy. It is not like he is Aphex Twin or some
other DJ. He is a professor who is mainly advancing
electronic music as we know it and he spent his whole life
dedicated to electronic music.

He told me he doesn't know much about club music but at his
university he students actually try to learn how to compose
pop music.
I find this interesting, because electroacoustic music
clearly has an influence on idm. Just listen to Autechre or
the clicks & cuts series, but the academic scene seems to be
unaware of this.

Listen to more electroacoustic music. Expand your mind
