yes, so you will need it for survival, it happened to you in
the form of an accident, but it was a gift and could
possibly save your life!

Yep, it's ironic lint stopped the fire. Pocket lint is
frequently used as a fire starter in survival situations.

since thanksgiving break in 2003, which puts me up for my
ninth anniversary this year. however, i largely stuck with
vaporizers for the first four or six years, and i don't
usually keep lighters in my pocket.

Dude, this lint+lighter thing happened to me a few days
ago!!! I was like wtf... and remembered this thread. And
now the lighter sometimes stops working if I put it in my
pocket, which is some sort of lint shock remembrance or
something.

i was at work the other night and i forgot my lighter, i
tried to think of a way to make fire, so i searched around
an office to see if i could find something. I realised there
are actually a lot of ways to do this using every day
materials found in offices and homes etc

all i needed was

Batteries
gum paper

after i ran out of gum paper

batteries
steel surface
staple
elastic band
perfume
