actually, could i maybe have some small request? there is a lot of stuff merged into the channel with the drums and it will be pretty difficult to reuse that one. would it be possible for you to maybe extract the bass portion onto another channel? just the 808, or whatever you used for that subbass. would be highly appreciated. |

sorry dood, but that one gave me a pretty hard time tbh, just couldn't figure out where i would want to go with this. in the end, i stitched different ideas that i had together into one. i don't know if you'll like it. it's definitely not my best work, but i tried a few new patents. also i had pretty much fun as i always have while remixing. oh, on a side note: as usual when i do remixes i have used solely samples from your stems, without any additional one from my side. lots of dsp involved though. |

i'll send you a mail to the one posted in your account. that one is still working? remixes are always fun. at least imho. in fact i prefer doing remixes than normal tracks for the simple reason that they are in some way limited by the soundsets (at least in my case, where i don't add anything artificial). it's pretty crazy but i don't even use samples in my own productions usually, just bare synthesis. that coems of very mathematical and cold. also synthesis has this negative aspect that every bit of the sound is tweakable. you end up probably with a completely different sound than you intended. samples on the other hand thanks to their sonical limits always at least partially remain original. there, rambling again. i'll drop you a mail later dood. |
