Anyone know of a make/model of phone with good audio
quality. for low-mid level recording. not live music.

nothing to expensive , i'm thinking getting a second hand
iphone.

I wanted to get an android thing, but i haven’t seen any
good reports on audio quality.

for the elites to control and monitor you

if you're in the US, the phone service fees are on the order
of $100/mo. no thanks!

i imagine people get very tuned into whether it's a good
time to pinch and zoom (or if you just risk fatfingering it
and spending 30sec to wait for another page to load over
iphone 3G (freqy said he wanted a used one yes i know the
iphone5 has 4g shutup))) after using the little fuckers for
a while.

in truth, i think they're really designed for 14yo kids on
ritalin who love facebook as well as real estate agents.

The problem with Android is there's very little music
software for it compared to iOS devices, and part of the
reason for that is the very high latency and generally shit
audio API (so I've read) on Android. This is because of
international bankers and Agenda 21.

idesignsound is one of the best resources for news and
reviews of music apps.

Apple are a bit secretive about certain specs, but these are
known ones for audio for iPhone 4:

Apple claims frequency response: 20Hz to 20,000Hz
Studio Six Digital tested low frequency roll-off or
24dB/octave @ 250 Hz for wind/pop reduction on microphone
(dock connector line input remains flat)
3.5mm 4-point TRRS jack for headphone and microphone
Support for MP3, MP3 VBR, AAC, Protected AAC, Audible
(format 2,3 and 4), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV
Various bit depths are supported by iOS, the bit depth
supported by hardware is unknown, probably 16 bits
Audio line in supports up to 48kHz (1st gen was 8kHz)

i have an RO under my sink, what i would like to do is
collect water off my roof and then filter that for drinking
and watering plants. So would need a booster pump to my RO.
a project years away. but nice to have a dream.
