Throwing away all my cd's

Yes, after i cleaned my apartment today, i threw away all
the cd's i bought around 2001 - 2004 when i was getting into
electronic music and i only had a isdn internet connection.
Those weren't exactly happy times. But i realized that i am
not going to buy CDs anymore, so i have no intention in
collecting any.
Maybe in a few years i will throw away all my books.
But that means i can't show of my taste and personality
anymore, if everything is just digital. It means i lost a
part of my identity today.

why lose your identity when you can sell it on ebay for $$$

No one wants to buy obscure IDM music. And i won't bother
selling & shipping cds for 30 cents

you could also turn it into an art exhibit "that unhappy
period of my life when i just had ISDN" and it would be a
robot cube that CD changes all day.

That is just the way it goes. Music nowadys exists only in a
'digital format' without a physical carrier medium. For me
at last.

Without a physical carrier? It still needs a physical
carrier.

You're a fucking knob. I would consider that act akin to
book burning.

Cunt.
