If you talk in a less 'aggressive' style, say like a psychotherapist, will women like you more, or will they dismiss you as a potential mate or sex partner, because you are more like her girlfriends and not like a 'real man'? |

Women like a bad boy at times don't they? Also women bicker far more between them than men do. In my life that is. I'm not sure where i stand on the whole 'evil Y chromosome' thing. I've met and seen examples of horrific female behaviour. Bordering on evil. So let's not generalise and make nice little marked boxes for both males and females. Obviously things are changing and i think the term 'weaker sex' is more or less obsolete today. |

Men aren't evil. However in most self help books a 'female' style of communication is recommended. I really think that is sometimes very bad advice. Can you really say that one culture is better than the other? |

Yes. They grow up in diffrent cultures (girls among girls, boys among boys) and adopt diffrent gender roles. Therefore they use diffrent conversational styles. |

It is hard to find good material. I think you have to listen to everyday conversations, literary texts, and movie dialogues. This will highten your senses for language more. Of course that all means work. |
