guess i meant this

i put on the franz ferdinand one just now, and the way it's
assembled is right annoying. 45-second clips of an interview
sandwiched between large (but incomplete) blocks of trax. i
know the songs already; i'm really there to hear the
interview. then right as i'm saying "oh whatever" and
getting into the track the guy starts talking and it fades
out and he's too scottish for me to interstand.

guess i should try another one

yeah, you won't get to hear the full tracks sometimes, but
usually the talking is relevant to the track/artist that
plays underneath. i think it's a cool way to do an
interview, might not work for all artists but in some cases
it's great. the Clone one is very good.

it's just jarring, particularly when they play tracks i know
well (and so far i've only clicked on chaps i listen to). i
found myself skipping through the music to try and find the
interview faster, but it's like 80% music 20% interview and
the stupid flash player doesn't even have enough resolution
on the seek bar to make it worth bothering. it'd be nice if
someone could trim them down.

an even better idea, actually, would be to break it up into
tracks.

someone broke up the Gerald Donald one and put in on
Youtube, but that's probably the only one
