saw plaid live

I think this tops my live experiences, especially how it
was accompanied with GREAT visuals. The DJ there was Mira
Calix, hey shes pretty cute... and before Plaid came on it
was Nobukazu Takemura.. what an interesting show also with
sweet visuals. Then Plaid came on and they had a seperate
guy doing the visuals, on top of their mixer there was this
"robotic" camera system. It looked like a minature
short-circuit type robot that had like 4 mini cameras
attached to it. it sorta danced to the music and you got to
see Plaid twiddling the knobs on the mixers, etc it's sort
of hard to explain but for the most part it was a dope show.

Yeah, i have seen Plaid live a while ago. I remember a great
live session of Black Dog 7 years ago in the FUSE-club in
Brussels. Black dog is pre-Plaid

I've been talking to the guy who did the winning entry for
that WARP Squarepusher video comp - The Exploding Psychology
one with all the very highly synced graphics....

Him & his partner are going to be doing a show at the
upcoming Plaid/Coil/MouseOnMars concert at the Barbican....

If his video work is anything to go by then those of you who
enjoy cutting edge visuals are in for a treat...and he's a
very friendly guy to boot who doesn't mind discussing
technicalities & techniques...

Hoping to go along myself but it's a bit up in the air at
the mo due to other commitments...

& if you haven't see that SQPR vid then you need to find
it...SOULSEEK should have it, I've def seen a .MOV of it
somewhere......if not I'll rip it from DVD and get a version
online for people to checkout...e me if you want it & I'll
get back to you as soon as it's ready for download...

I saw plaid in lille (france). it was a great show. The
difference between US tour was the presence of Vlad instead
Nobokazu...
V.L.a.D is the first french artist on Warp
now he is on the "peter im flying" label.

Check his music on vladtronic.com
