...is pretty good. However, I think that a phpBB forum
would be far better... if you have php and mysql just go for
it...

no he isn't exactly involved with the mb, you doing his
whole music thing, but it would definitely would be cool if
he made a sneak appearence. phob also designs/maintains the
autechre site

It's alright to me, I can get used to anything. I care more
about substance than the style. It'd be nice if RDJ showed
up here, but I doubt i'd get a word in edgewise, he'd be
swarmed with posts.

phob could easily setup phpBB if he wanted to, but the point
is he doesnt... gone for the custom mb solution, which is
much more appropriate in my opinion... to my flaffing around
required when using the most common forums

What is PHP and MySQL? Could you please help TuneMX, the
coder who programmed this very mb, and tell him to use
PHP/MySQL instead of ......eh.... PHP/MySQL.

chapman, phpBB is awfully customizable! he could nearly do
everything with it! (like put these topics under categories,
add afx smilies, make quotes and polls etc)

huh?
phob, he can convert the database, so you won't lose any of
the topics, and just setup the forum on your server - a good
guide is the one provided by the phpBB group...

We've already been thru quite a few different Mb
formats....

And have slowly evolved into this one...which kinda suits
most of us...

We've kinda heard all these sort of arguments before...if
you want a different, more complex setup pop over to
Joyrex.com and use the mb there....it's kinda quiet (which
says something I think....)...

well this is the problem - I will have to read 10000 topics
to see what's been discussed... hehehe...
thanx for the address mate!

The thing is; this messageboard is just a part of the
upcoming site. The useraccounts will be heavily integrated
into the rest of the site, thereby making the community even
stronger.

Expect some intelligent(?) and interesting features in
Project X. ;-)
