Richard David James (born 18 August 1971), aka Aphex Twin, is an Irish-born English electronic musician described by The Guardian newspaper as "the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music."[1] He founded the record label Rephlex Records in 1991 with his friend Grant Wilson-Claridge.

Yea most of the article is based from xltronic's article interview collection. Props to phobiazero for sharing infos with the community. The entire talk page of that article is pretty fuckin funny if you ask me.

Rumours that he may have committed suicide in 1999 remain unproven, thou many suspect this may be true, and that the so called public "Aphex Twin" is just a guy in mask.
