so everybody loves barcelona :) maybe we could change our houses... oh, and if you are planning to come here, stop saying catalan is a dialect of spanish, someone may be upset... althought you dont really need to know the language for getting a job (just for getting and 'oficial'/government one), theres plenty of foreign people working here without knowing a single bit of catalan |

yes, job situation is not really good, but i guess is the same all around europe. i think its all a matter of the kind of person you are (capacities for moving) and the job you are looking for (not being too ambitious). and all the foreign people i know living here have 'easily' found a job, giving language classes or working for enterprises from their countries or similar things... |

interesting :) i tell you, in italy is a bit too meh cos you have to add the mafia based system to the general job situation. if you want to 'reivent' yourself you have zero possibility cos of the nonexistant social policy, and the very close mentality, so the people is always.. desconfiado towards another which creates a very bad general mood. i have no ambition other than being fine with the people and the place i live, with everything that follows. i prefer to go a bit more precarious rather than having a good job and zero stimulation, fuck we have only one life ain't we? |
