i was thinking the same thing... but i try to change as less
as possible, or else i might screw it up and it'll turn into
an acid track instead :/

Most likely a shooter or a fighter or something, classic
oldskool style. I basically create a whole lib for the
development team to pick tunes from, so i'm going along the
whole road as much as i can. There's another musician in the
team that has the more aggressive fighter music style, so i
hope i'm of any use.
And if not, i'm keeping these babies for my own projects
then :D

Drunken Mastah: Yes you can, but bring it back unscathed and
jizz-less please.

Disco toms are my weak spot, I'll hear just about anything
with tom-tom drums.

so how do you get into making music for games?

can't download? Any errors, etc? It should be working all
fine, checked the links.

I wanted to do this since i was a kid really, the idea of
making a tune to fit with some harsh tough level you have to
play with dark forests and boiling lava pits really appealed
to me. I'm a Screwattack.com "G1", and i noticed some other
"G1s" started this freeware game development group, and i
joined in as a soundeffects/musician guy. From there on it's
really letting your imagination go, like you can create your
own game scenarios and make music for that, or just go with
a general theme, like Planet Gust 1 and 3 and make a couple
of those.
