LiveCut is ok but it has no sequencer. There's also a pluggo/max thingy that was written for Live I think, but it's kind of bobo.

if you use live you could probably get satisfactory results using a combo of major malfunction, beat repeat and sample offset (once you render it as audio).
if you don't use live look into major malfunction anyway. it doesn't cut/reorder the beats, so you have to pair it up with something else. it is like an fx sequencer.

Glitch spices up any track. Try placing it over popular chart hits to add that authentic sounding 'IDM' flavour.

Good call! :-D
Glitch is just an app designed to give incompetent producers the ability to throw in a glitched sound or rhythm or whatever because it's the "in" thing to do.
I think generative drum sequencing is much better than random/user-control based "glitch" apps. I use the BBCut2 library - it's available as a standalone VST plugin here: LAZY_LiveCut
It doesn't give the same control as it does within the SuperCollider or CSound environments, but it's pretty damn good considering what it is.

I didn't post this for a fucking lecture. I just want a mac version of glitch. Music making should be enjoyed by everyone. Not just the elite or people with a fucking science degree.

Jesus dude, sorry. I was just trying to offer a good Mac alternative to Glitch.
Although I can say I am a bit troubled by your statement. Should music only be made my simple software? Are innovation and complexity allowed?
Either way, I was just trying to be helpful and friendly, you cuntnut.

"Glitch is just an app designed to give incompetent producers
the ability to throw in a glitched sound or rhythm or whatever because it's the "in" thing to do"
doesn't sound too friendly or helpful to me.
anyways in answer to your questions, no i don't think music should ONLY be made by simple software. And of course innovation and complexity to be allowed because like i said, "music making should be enjoyed by everyone" :)
so swivel on that fuckwit :)
