just found out that there are gonna be remasters of Isn't
Anything and Loveless.

those who like MBV here - what do you think about this?

i personally am hesitant to buy, i'd rather listen to the
remasters first. those albums already sound perfect to me

Kevin, stop fucking around with remasters and give us the
"new" material. waited for you to play some in Manchester,
but you didn't :(

so what are all the gigs for then? and the £30 tshirts that
are sold inside the venues?

i just hope that he has himself been at the helm of the
remasters, as an artist who seems to value integrity of
music as an artform i would hope that he hasn't destroyed
the sound :-s

Kevin Kevin Kevin what a cunt, I agree he should concentrate
on new things not going over the past, why not remake
pre-Isn't Anything MBV less shite? Though some's good,
Strawberry Wine etc. Why can I not go out for a drink and
then maybe an agreeable shag later with Bilinda Butcher, is
my real question, though.

unwanted piss twice then compounded it by adding this.

I think they need remastering, personally... if only to add
that all-valuable low end which apparently they didn't know
existed.

It's probably just to capitalize on the remake of My Bloody
Valentine (3-D) that's in theatres now and making decent
money. Naturally some kids will be curious to hear the
seminal 80's band that named themselves after the film.
Hearing the original print out of context, they may be
disappointed with the sound quality and would prefer a
remastering.

they'll probably compress them to one big giant loud blurb.
i mean, 'remaster' them.

i dunno. im curious to hear loveless. it does sound somewhat
unmastered, but it'd have to be remastered carefully. making
things too upfront or anything could just ruin it. he said
in interviews that he wanted to release the remastered album
along with the original album, which shows he hasn't lost
the plot or anything and atleast respects the original
sound. i think he knows what he's doing...
