i.e. he could pass the voight kampff test if he took it,
and appears to have human like blood, the implanted dream he
has of the unicron is the large suggestion that he is a
replicant

personally i feel he is human and the notion that he could
be a replicant is just there to relate to us what it means
to be human and if in the future we could tell or now

i hope a chewie replicant turns up in the sequal and a
falcon.

although completely ridiculous...would still be ****** cool.

lol

when gaff drops the origami unicorn at the end of the film,
its suggest that he knows that deckard has the implanted
dream of a unicorn and hence he is a replicant

i was always entranced by her voice to even notice.
wow.

That's how awesome that ship really is.

amazing art

I wonder what Michelangelo would have thought of the Falcon
and its sound?

But where in the film do we see Deckard dreaming of a
unicorn?

Work print: No cheesy ending, no voice over, no unicorn
scene, a few additional scenes

Theatrical both: Corny ending, voice over, no unicorn scene
(World version has more violence)

yes im not sure if its in every cut of the film, there are
like 4 or 5 versions of bladerunner, theatrical, workprint,
directors cut and final cut, final cut is the one i
definitely think its best all round,

i must have had a version without the unicorn.

there are moments where jodey kendrick has me thinking i'm
listening to a jack dangers job off RUOK? but i suppose both
james and dangers have a synthi 100, and quite literally
yesterday i had japanese telecom on and was noticing some
other commonalities. then i've finally been getting into
syro a bit and i'm hearing things in that which constitute a
much clearer signature for the analord 'n' beyond stuff than
i've heard before.it's a hard thing to explain, really, but
it's the same sort of thing where i can recognize who wrote
code because of the little bags of patterns everyone who
learns to code gradually builds up... and jesus christ does
james love the gapper/cutter. a few stacked layers and the
track is strobing at ya and what escapes the clip is
occasionally allowed to leak out and a complex dialogue
builds up and there is a hell of a lot of precise control of
envelopes on absolutely anything. reverbs, a lot there. not
what he uses, but certain contexts where he goes right for a
certain sort of thing 90% of the time. i will have to
re-listen to steinvord and get back to this thread with a
proper opinion.

^ yes its like when tuss came out your could tell
immediately who it was there was no question, where a
question mark hangs over the steinvord tracks in my opinion,
they are good but dont sound at Aphex level to me,

the real hangup here is the mix. the mix on steinvord is
terrible but interesting. i can hear good shit in there but
i have to listen very carefully and slog my way through all
the bad levels. i do not have to do that with other aphex
stuff. off day? different process? different guy? the record
itself plays as a tense download of some chap's dissociative
trip; a lot of drugs are in here and linda, please take a
memo: dfjlkgdjfgouer9sdfjdfgnjdfjgkdfggfd. then you play the
record back and it's a fucking mess but if you can get past
that he's shredding it pretty good. if aphex wrote this, he
wrote it in his computer mainframe bunker on a lot of drugs.
then the next day it was like what the fuck, this is a mess
but it's too mental to just bin. if it wasn't aphex, pretty
much same thing

He was certainly good at self promoting, i think he was very
witty, i think mike tyson in his prime would have knocked
his head clean off though

mike tyson vs. steinvord, interesting. i figure it would
play out like: steinvord falls into a k-hole. ref counts to
three.
