How is the weather? It is -8° Fahrenheit here. On Friday,
it snowed 10 inches. On Saturday, it snowed 4 inches.

Thanks for the updates!

STRONG WESTERLY WINDS AND FRIGID TEMPERATURES WILL
CONTINUE
ACROSS SOUTHERN WISCONSIN THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. THE
COMBINATION
OF BITTER COLD TEMPERATURES AND THE STRONG WINDS WILL RESULT
IN
DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS DURING THIS TIME.

THESE STRONG WINDS WILL ALSO RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE BLOWING

It's been evil cold (-30c with wind chill) in Montreal last
few days. Now we're getting 30cm of snow. This is old school
weather. Apparently it's a colder year in 2008/09 because of
La Nina.

It's 7am and 21°C. Today's max is 34°C.

It's been a warm night. Currently there's some wind about
and just a smattering of rain.

I would like for it to snow here in the UK for Christmas,
but I suspect that will not happen!

You are complaining about getting 14" this weekend? Most
girls would count themselves extremely lucky.

BTW: 1° Fahrenheit right now. Love these anti-cyclonic mid
latitude disturbances.

About 6 inches of snow, the wet heavy kind, and
face-stingingly, breath-takingly windy. Had to shovel this
morning and threw myself into a snowbank gasping for breath
as soon as I finished, I'm so out of shape.

why did the queen settle in england when there was such a
large empire?
why not somewhere sunny? why are there so many people in
cold places ?
it costs the earth to heat all those billions of rooms .
