I've been working on this for over a year and completed it just over a month or so ago. It started out as just a single track I made a while ago (2249) which had a really good response, so I decided to make a full-length in a similar mood. I've given the full disc to a few people and i'm really glad with the response. A few very famous musicians have also sent some pretty incredible feedback, which really was amazing to read. There has been interest in releasing it on a very well known label, but i'm thinking of just getting a really nice 500 copy digipak pressed myself so I can have it ready for the new year (as I think it is best listened at winter anyway!), but we'll see how it goes. For now, i'd really be interested in feedback! |

I heard the samples too and it's pretty great. I havent heard the full album yet, but the samples sound awesome. Sometimes I dream of indeksical and hanal having sex with me, /at the same time/ |

I've not heard this, why don't I hear this? These samples are great. It is a wintry sound I agree. Though here it's warm so I'll have to go with a "very early morning" sound... I was expecting something quite different but this is like falling into the world's largest duvet. Full of hot chicks. I look forward to hearing it in its entirety. |

Thanks all. Yeah, it's probably not what most people were expecting, but sadly, theres only so many hoovers and kickdrums I can take before I need to slow things down a little! If it's hot where you are, maybe install a nice sexy speaker system in your fridge and take up position next to the cheese and milk. Should do the trick! |

Assuming all goes well (and in my experience, it rarely does) it will be ready for late January/early February. I need to finish the artwork, but the album is complete and mastered. |

actually, some bits of the samples have occured in a dream i had a few days ago... i knew i heard it from somewhere but couldn't quite remember what it was, and then i randomly scanned through the samples and there i found it, track "Nephyr" |

oh... it's great it's just they feel very knytt stories or something. honestly, the whole thing sounds unquestionably lovely but this isn't really up my street. it is just me cos everyone else would love this. really nice work, i didn't have you pinned as the ambient man. |

self-released. i just want to do everything myself, since its quite a personal thing for me. christian fennesz gave me his blessing and passed it on to touch, which is a fantastic label, but i do find it more fullfilling doing everything myself, nomatter how much of a pain it can be (and believe me, it can) thanks for the kind words all. |

First impression. First two songs, i was thinking "yeah, thats pretty good, but nothing special". As soon as "inside" kicked off, you blew my mind. It's fucking amazingly good! |

Easily in my top 10 albums of all time. Seriously. Brisk uses sounds that remind me of the rpgs I grew up on. equation: (incredible music + nostalgia = astronomically epic) 500 copies? I'll be getting one. |

thanks again all. until this thread, only about 5 people had actually heard the thing, so it's really reassuring to hear that most of you are feeling it. i'm gonna start work on a follow up in the new year after it's released, possibly with the intention of making three albums in a similar style in total. we'll see how it goes. |

It was due back from manufacturing on the 14th, but there has been a delay because of a fault with the digipak folding machine... anyway, it should be back to me next week, so will be ready for early Feb. Just need to get a few things sorted until then. Almost there! |
