does it just sound like Snares on hardware again?

I thought the first track on the last album was amazing,
then everything after that sounded kind of derivative.

I think this thread deserves to be resurrected. 1961 is the
first good release I've heard since Rushup Edge.
'Portoghese' is amazing. Kudos Aaron!

but does it really have sense?

i mean, i love the synthetic sound of the samples,
but they sound like pieces without logical
connexion/progression, and mr. funk always had that caotic
disperse mind i could never get into...

id like to buy this album, but im afraid of deception as
happened with most of snares albums...mmmwhatodo?

does it mean it reminded you the best snares or what?

Don't like it. Listened to the previews on Mu and it sounds
like shit. All Snares is capable of is appropriating
(ripping off) other peoples styles and techniques and
rehashing them into stilted non flowing peices. Very
occasionally they work, more often than not they don't.

Back in 1999 when I was still in my late teens and one naive
little motherfucker, vsnares sounded so fresh to my ears.

50,000,000 releases later, I simply cannot listen to his
music anymore. Maybe i'm just getting old and my musical
priorities have changed, but almost everything he has put
out after Doll Doll Doll has been Dull Dull Dull.

no
really i can just recommend dling it illegally first to
listen, it's ok because i think aron does it too i think

at times i like last step (haven't heard this album enough
yet though) at other times i think it's unnecessarily to
combine vsnares with normal dance music (tuss music)

I can't say i like it so far, but that's because i'm very
Tuss-tired and don't like the ring of anything that sounds
alike at the moment. This of course passes on in some time,
so i'm not going to say i'm not going to buy it.
