ghosts are an footprint of energy left on some dimension of
reality, one which coincides with ours. They are not
peoples' souls.

if there is any such phenomena i would have to say that is
most probably the best explanation. or at least the one i
like the most.

Seriously-- i derive them from my subconscious---

ghosts talk to me when I drum, sometimes through me,

i found a ghost in this rocket shaped drum that my mom
bought at a yardsale and gave to my dad before she died--

a few months ago I drew a series of pictures that revealed
to me this presence-- i know another drummer who has also
independently discovered a guardian ghost such as this
(though i think of mine as more of a channeling device for
creative power, a kind of cybernetic construct)-- both of
these entities are 'third' entities, of the jungian sort.
Spiritual alchemy and probabilistic timelines help us divine
how to create new things, new value, in a technologically
outpaced human culture.

does anyone have hosting, i will post this song that was
directed by it at me yesterday.

for where to 'go'

Ghosts, whatever they may be definitely exist. I'm speaking
from first-hand experience of them, the house in which I
live is haunted, not in a bad way.

The spirit isn't evil at all, we aren't threatened at all by
it but every so often you catch sight of something, or there
is low-level poltergeist activity or noises. I've grown up
around it so it doesn't scare me, the first time I can
remember anything happen was when I was 3 or 4, I was being
put to bed and I looked out over my mum's shoulder and asked
who that 'old lady on the stairs' was. Since then my whole
family and some of my friends have experienced stuff happen
which can't be explained

Perhaps the strangest thing to have happened to me was a few
years back, we went out for the evening and I rememebr I had
just bought a large paint pen and I left it on my floor. We
got back and I went upstairs to my room and the pen wasn't
there, so I was understandably a bit bemused as I knew for
certain that it had been on the floor before I left. Looked
all over my room for it and then decided to check on top of
my desk. Moved a few bits of paper around but didn't see it,
then turned away from the desk for a second, before turning
back again. On the desk was my pen standing vertically on
the desk, exactly where the papers had been a few seconds
before

Thats the weirdest thing thats happened to me, my dad a few
months ago literally came face to face with an apparition on
the landing, he came out the bathroom and it was a few feet
away from him before it disappeared

anyway enough of my experiences, I'm interested in hearing
more xlt ghost encounters

sometimes scary and other times very enjoyable,
i imagine myself channeling that energies to create and to
be guided.

In this era of mobile phone cameras and handheld camcorders,
you would think that clear pictured evidence of ghosts would
be absolutely rife. That after all these years of countless
accounts, proof would by now be undeniable.

Yet, fuck all. Just some pictures of a mist or some other
such garbage.

I've seen some pretty damn convincing photos, not the same
shite circulated forever on google image search and such,
but some really strange inexplicable stuff caught on camera,
I'm always wary of videos though

Of course most of the time photos are faked to some degree
but every so often very very odd ones turn up

Ghosts exist, but as Horsefactory (the second half of the
xlt ghost force) can tell you, they are both elusive and
cunning bits of ham; they have x-ellent camouflage skills,
and they know how to imitate plastic bags, people, dogs and
certain brands of cereal. If a ghost is implanted into a
poison sandwich, you can almost be certain that it cannot be
dodged.

"ghosts are an footprint of energy left on some dimension
of
reality, one which coincides with ours. They are not
peoples' souls."

There is only one dimension of reality, and you're living in
it.

As for souls, what the fuck is a "soul"? Other than a
pointless word that doesn't mean anything. It's the same as
"spiritual", another totally redundant word if ever there
was one.

I thought I had done a decent job of disconnecting the
concept of 'souls' from the concept of 'ghosts.' but looking
back I can see I left it a bit vague. For the record I do
not believe in souls. And I agree there's only one reality,
but that doesn't mean our perception of that reality isn't
flawed, skewed, or otherwise filtered.

Yes, but only as a memetic idea in human brains and mediums
like movies. Bioluminescent jellyfish exist though which are
pretty similar to ghosts I suppose.

How about rattlesnake ghosts, identifiable only by the sound
of rattles. Now normally, I'm not one to be afraid of
ghosts, but these scaly spooks would surely be something
else, something else scary! Tiptoein' around n shit, trying
not to step in the invisible ghost rattlesnake den that is
sleeping somewhere in your house. They start rattlin', and
unless you have really good ears, you got no idea where
they're coming from. A man beheaded some real ones in the
yard with a shovel and that's why they're here.

what about ghosts that have ghosts living in their houses?

when a ghost dies it comes back and haunts other ghosts .

camcorders,
you would think that clear pictured evidence of ghosts would

be absolutely rife. That after all these years of countless

accounts, proof would by now be undeniable.

Whether they exist or not, I wouldn't think you could
actually photograph it. I know there are many many supposed
photos, some fake, some explainable and maybe some real..
What kind of matter is a ghost made out of though? Does it
reflect light? I think it would be the kind of thing you
would perceive, more than actually see. Your mind might
translate it into something visual, but it would be more
like a real hallucination.

Also, I believe we have souls. Besides religion, it just
seems evident to me that there is more to us and this place.
I don't know what ghosts are, I tend to shy away from them
being actual people. That has something to do with
religion, but I'm not taking it there, and I don't think you
have to to perceive a sense of something more in people,
life and the world around us.

in what way? the first point makes sense to me. if we
entertain the idea that there are in fact ghosts, and ghosts
are other worldly ie not made of atoms or matter etc., how
would you photograph it? and if you saw it, it would have to
be like a vision wouldn't it? we see objects
because they reflect light. a camera is a device based
around capturing light. ghosts aren't made out of anything,
its a ghost. there is no ectoplasm. what is garbage about
that?

my second point, well, if you want to completely turn
yourself off to that there is nothing i can say
that will change your mind. just think about it, next time
you look at the clouds, or go inside a planetarium.. next
time you listen to music or appreciate any type of art, just
really think about whether or not it all boils down to what
you think it does, or does it have to be something
more?

Ghosts are people who get trapped on the material plane
instead of flying towards the light to reunite with the
Brown Flame of St. Ool.

What is the "soul" anyway, can you at least give me an
intelligible answer to that, based on a modicum of
existential evidence?

How does having a "soul" relate to art? You perceive art
through your senses - sight, touch, hearing etc., this is
then translated by thought, which may or may not bring about
an emotional response depending on how you interpret it.
Where does this "soul" come in?

the s accident was caused by me keeping the
browser text too small btw. see Barcode, strange events can
be explained if you just think about it a little, saying 'i
don't believe' is superficial just as saying 'i do believe'.
although i think that skepticism is necessary to make you
discern your personal truth.
