Oh fuck yes just found it leaked.

Will give unnecessarily fanboi partial reviews over the next
hour while i listen.

wahoo. fucking excellent album. very much the same
style/structure as his previous releases, the tracks feel
more like vignettes than actual songs, other than the couple
collaborations on the album, understandably. less crunchy
than mustache, this is definitely a relative of the
transsexual ep. contorted disco samples pair with
almost-too-vanilla midi presets into the most awkward head
bobbing one can imagine. and just when it starts to really
get into a steady groove, things get sent through the
blender and you're just as lost as before. it's like your
brain can't comprehend the groove, yet your body can.

favorites (at least after the first listen):
z
cut dick
bruce willis is dead
positif

*sigh* there are few things which make me feel as at peace
as a new mr. oizo record. for the moment, everything is
right with the world.

instant fave is erreur jean. awesome tune!

i'm pre-emptively sorry but the rest sounds like a tame
version of daft punk. no worries though. to really
appreciate this shit you have to REALLY crank up the volume.

shit like bruce willis is dead does my head in, but rank and
hun are awesome.
Jo is cool too

but like,m this is a really corny album. i appreciate that,
but some of them could probably be a bit better, some of
them sound like random tests one does with a bunch of
samples and some time to kill

"some of them sound like random tests one does with a bunch
of samples and some time to kill"

that's what oizo's albums have always been, and i love the
flow it gives them. he doesn't write proper albums, get just
gives you a disc filled with delicious, demented sound.

Moustache was brilliant and Transexual was interesting (what
with the re-incarnation of michael jackson and all) so I
can't wait for this weirdness.

this in awe.

Z is bangin'

Cut Dick is good

As for Two Takes It, seems I was right to be worried about
the 'featuring' tracks.

I forgot to deliver my verdict on the rest, but yeah, it
isn't as good as Moustache as there are some turds, but
there is still plenty of great music here.

hehe, i'm loving the variety of tracks people are listing as
their favorites. not a single one is remotely the same
(other than bruce willis).

who thinks he should make a sequel to the track called
"Rumer Willis is a Potato-Head"?

seriously, she just looks exactly like her dad, except she's
a girl. and that don't work.

i actually have a friend with the same situation. he's a
handsome looking fellow, but both his mom and sister have
the same face, and it just dudn't work.

Listened to this coming back home today, another great Oizo
album, different from the other two too which is good. I
enjoyed the majority of it, it better come out on vinyl.

OK, but are there any OPEN, non-invite-only trackers that
carry this album? I don't know what your definition of
decent is, but it's not on TPB, mininova, torrentreactor,
isohunt or bitsoup at least.

so at least it should be clarified that it's not (yet) on
any of the biggest sites that people usually go to.

maybe it's on what.cd or waffles.fm but that's not for
everybody

, could do without a few of the tracks with the cheesy
blaring trance lead sound and the vocals but pretty good
album overall
I think it's probably his weakest lp of of the 3, maybe it
will grow on me. Moustache is still my fave

i couldn't help but smile when putting this one on on the
train for this morning, other than the (i think) two feature
tracks this is what i love to hear from him, and that's what
he's giving us. It's excellent, funny, strange, bizar and
repulsive at the same time.

I
Love
It.
