i think the melody's good in that it swerves around the obvious and leaves you to pick out bits of pleasantness hiding in the blur of echoey atmosphere. i actually think part of why it dosn't work is that it feels like the prelude to better things, the better things never really come around. this track is made flat by the flatness of the whole quari cd imo. |
