Essential albums I must own

Suggest one album I should own. If I don't already have it
I will get it and write a review of it. If I do have it, I
will probably say something about it too.

So suggest away, one per person until I have reviewed it or
already have it.

You have chosen two, when I specifically asked for one. I
have Hangable Auto Bulb not a bad album but I wouldn't call
it essential I prefer Richard D. James, but I did buy that
from the strength of the Hangable Auto Bulb EPs.

That Severed Heads CD is one of the most amazing electronic
records of all time. Good luck finding a copy though, it's
been out of print for years. Try the band's official site,
they handmake their own CDs now, or just download the
mp3's.

Also recommended from the Heads is "Since the Accident".

those few who have it's agreed that this album is amazing

I have got so far:

Redneck Manifesto - I am on my second listen, my first
impressions are that it sounds a lot like other 'post rock'
instrimental stuff I already have, Do Make Say Think, Mogwai
etc. I think for me I would like to hear them diversify a
little, I was waiting for an ISIS type of distorted riff.
Saying that I am enjoying the subtalty of it. The
transitions (time changes/tempo changes) are really clever
and unexpected. I will listen to it again and can think of
people I know who I will recomend this to myself. I like
this and will reserve my judgement until I have given it
another listen. FIRST IMPRESSION: Good, Gets another few
spins at least. Full review and grade to follow! Thanks
PORICK

Sun Ra - Not listened to it yet...
