kill me

whatever i try. it doesn't matter what. it always ends up
feeling like it was a big joke set up to make me look like a
fucking idiot. and i always end up feeling that way.

i see myself constantly from a critical perspective laughing
constantly at the bitter mess i get myself into. i know
exactly what i should do but find absolutely no control over
myself. i fuck up constantly and it's always blatantly aware
to me.

i'm fed up of observing my life. observing the failures and
miserable embarrassments.

when i watch the news it depresses me. i look for hope but i
see nothing. i look to the past and i see the world wars. i
think 'jesus, what the fuck happened there?' and yet i see
now and i can't help but think it never ended. the nazis
never lost. we're being raped by them ever since. we've lost
our souls and i pray for anything to end it all.

the hadron collider is my only hope. lol

i dunno how many times i'm gonna say it, you need to read
some sort of existentialist literature and get the fuck over
it already because everyone goes through this sort of a
phase at some point and everyone realizes IT IS FUCKING
RETARDED.

see? turn that depression into something that will make you
a dirty man who only works to go to strip clubs, whores, and
booze.

you are not a victim and I seriously doubt you the creator
of all your problems either. why let the world depress you -
you have no direct control over any of it. nearly everyone's
life is a bitter mess, that's the nature of life - constant
conflict. every cell in your body is in conflict with
another.

it's how you deal with it. you either shrug it off, see it
for what it is, or fold. but why fold? the odds are not
stacked for you or against you, the only thing that differs
is your perception.

can do nothing about it. eventually asks for help

if he doesn't give a fuck, you didn't tell him not to do it

I'm in this mood today but FACKIT.
XLT moans on about the short comings of human nature: aren't
we crap and evil and ants are probably nicer than us innit.
HUMAN is the only beautiful thing, everything else is
just a pathetic substance. It is the nature side of
us that rapes and kills, the side of us that only eats shit.
The goodness in us was passed down and is in the parts of us
we hold most sacred, OUR HUMANITY!!!
I think we should appreciate what we as a species have
beaten and risen above despite our infinite weaknesses. All
the goodness we have cultivated out of the chaos of life is
not to be sniffed at, EVER. Misery is an ugly thing RAZOR,
do not let it become a part of you. It is a demon i swear,
everything that takes a human apart is this demon. It's an
agent sent to destroy us, sent by an old old thing that
cannot stand our noise, and our smell...like the dudes from
the matrix. Anyway people are luvly really and your great,
don't pick on yourself. You just MOVE to the next thing or
die in the place youre sitting in right now. Cheer up it's
all good.

Never surrender

! seriously, I feel this way too sometimes, but it's OK. We
are going through a depression period right now, in more
ways than one, which is resonating with the nazi era and the
nixon era, but we will pull through to the other side
eventually, trust me. The Higgs boson is only the symbolic
representation of Obama.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well.
I don't know how big a part this plays in your view of the
world but humanity has not reached its peak, neither are we
heading for doomsday anytime soon. This view is often
associated with the output of modern day media, the
atmosphere of a contemporary discussion and what is
generally called "the bad world syndrome". We are led to
believe that we have destroyed the world, become
degenerated, eaten all the cows and crops and are now dying
as a consequence of the bottomless warp that is our
ignorance.

One needs to realize this is a sad outcome of what happens
when ignorant people are put in charge of elements that
affect us and our view of the world both subliminally and
more direct (media). There might even be a more sinister
edge to this which would be well compartmented.

It is interesting to think that there are people alive today
that have lived through the ages of more primitive harmless
devices, through the establishment of daily life
electricity, the dawn of the atomic age, supercomputers,
nano technology, pollution and the rising awareness of the
consequences of our technology. We need to learn through
experience. It is my belief that this is the only way we
will truly move forward. We ARE taking huge steps toward a
sustainable lifestyle and general preservation of the
planet.

It's just that headlines about raging murder sell more
copies than information about fields of solar panels that
are going to be installed around the globe, or a brand new
system that can turn desert air into drinking water
(recently developed at the university of my home town i
might add!).

There is a broad and beautiful spectrum to humanity and we
should always aim to look outside ourselves and the bullshit
we are fed, to get a glimpse of what we are actually capable
of.

Just my 2 cents..
*Hugs*

i think you should take a break. take a break from the
internet, from drink, from drugs, from partying. go for a
walk in the country, have sex, read a (happy) book, cook a
meal. do some constructive stuff. if you're really that bad
go get some therapy.

remember that how we se others is a reflection of how we see
ourselves. yes, this is a cliche and it doesnt explain all
the injustices in the world, but it is important to remember
we often project our own failings and insecurities onto
others.

life isn't fair, but you can't carry the weight of the world
on your shoulders. what you can do is make your own small
contribution to making things a bit better.

i dunno, talking to an impartial stranger can be useful,
helps you get shit of your chest without feeling judged. a
lot of the time just saying out loud what you're thinking is
enough to clear your mind. sometimes this is hard to do when
you don't think anyone wants to listen or there is no one to
listen or you think those who would listen would take the
piss. obviously talking to strangers on the internets isnt
very productive.

true. being here, and somewhere else in the past makes me
wonder how many people like me has no one to talk to,
trustfully and without fear of judgement . typing shit
makes one watching oneself from the outside and say
something like razorblade uk said earlier 'how pathetic is
that'. the lone fact that you realize it means that you are
aware of it, so you can move on and do some kind of self
healing.

therapy can help, maybe/maybe not by talking to someone
(each case would vary) but doing things theraputic, such as
exercisinig, doing a journal to get out your feelings,
painting, whatever you need to do to make your life
better/happier

Holy Shit S M Pennyworth hit it right on the head !!

went camping with a couple of friends. walked around some
fields and found some magic mushrooms which we ate and then
sat around a fire laughing all night.

the comments here though have surprised me. i always expect
people just to say fuck off and what not, but a friendly
response makes me realise that maybe a lot of the time we're
all thinking the same thing a little bit.

understanding each other feels good.

When are you going to figure it out, we're just machines.
The mind is nothing more than a super computer. But
computers are limited to the knowledge that has been put in
there. The value system and your culture are the boundaries
within that information is shared, information that is
common to everyone. We are all automatons, you cannot
possibly be alone - your feelings and emotions are
replicated by everyone, your thoughts identical too - except
for which the order in which they are distributed by one's
memory. It would actually be nice if we did have some
individuality. Only the value system declares that you are
somehow unique, as it to justfiy its own paltry existence.
