pro: it looks like it could work on paper. con: it doesn't actually work. it just creates a different kind of class system between the government & the people. it is impossible to make everyone equal, through communism or democracy, but it is better to have the checks and balances against corrupt and oppressive government that we have in a democratic republic. |

Here are a few reasons why none of those models will work. 1-People aren't the same. Some people work best under capitalism, some people work best under communism, some people work best under fascism and some people work best under a frugal agriculture based economy. You will never find a community large enough for any kind of reasonable sustainability where everyone works under a single of these conditions. 2-There is no one simple answer to solving all our problems as a society. 3-The human mind gravitates towards chaos while nature gravitates towards order. 4-The natural state of things is one where the strong kills the weak as a means of survival. Existence is suffering. |
