would you be kind enough to give a few important pros and
cons of communism?

anyone else, please feel free.

pro: it looks like it could work on paper.
con: it doesn't actually work.

it just creates a different kind of class system between the
government & the people. it is impossible to make everyone
equal, through communism or democracy, but it is better to
have the checks and balances against corrupt and oppressive
government that we have in a democratic republic.

i don't know if you've noticed (try switching on the news)

We need a whole new approach perhaps based on some of the
novel ideas presented to us by the music of Autechre.
Imagine the Pentagon controlled by Max SP or whatever it is.

I can't work out why it doesn't work, why would someone who
is smart enough to be a doctor or a lawer want to be paid
more than a farm worker?

i heard on the radio the other day that women love diamonds
,shoes and money as security for their babies and mainly to
show off to their friends. it costs the earth...so in the
end their future bables ..> bablies will probably perish
anyway due to their lack of fore site and selfishness.
..what a horrible thing to say on radio ...still the female
interviewer came back and hit hard for that statement sexist
or something...men are to blame of course as they are mainly
the ones designing the systems. bastards,

What kind of 'question' is that? Of course the working class
is responsible that someone could become a doctor. So, you
have to serve them! Thats a privilige!

Read this to see why neither the American capitalist model, nor the Soviet com...

All modern industrial economies are ultimately doomed to
fail as they are unsustainable environmentally, socially and
economically.

Ultimately, we'll all have to return to a more frugal,
agriculture-based economy. The transition won't be easy.

Oops - my lazy link didn't work very well - it was supposed
to read "neither the American capitalist model, nor the
Soviet communist model *work*".

Here are a few reasons why none of those models will work.

1-People aren't the same. Some people work best under
capitalism, some people work best under communism, some
people work best under fascism and some people work best
under a frugal agriculture based economy. You will never
find a community large enough for any kind of reasonable
sustainability where everyone works under a single of these
conditions.

2-There is no one simple answer to solving all our problems
as a society.

3-The human mind gravitates towards chaos while nature
gravitates towards order.

4-The natural state of things is one where the strong kills
the weak as a means of survival. Existence is suffering.
