So this is what everybody's asking: What was the first
album you bought at the store? At the store, with your own
money, if I remember correctly. Yeah, that's it.

How did it feel in your hands?

You're joking right? Mr Oizo? Such refined taste for a
young man, not embarrassing at all. (tips hat)

I remember lying on the living room floor with my dads big
headphones on listening to Stutter Rap and the b-side,
Another Boring B-Side, over and over again whilst my parents
watched TV. It might actually be my earliest memory.

washing my dads car for the money and buying the record.
I'll stop drivelling now.

No! No! Tell us more! How they feel in your hands?

My first music: Cassette singles by Ugly Kid Joe and Dr.
Dre, "Everything About You" and "Nuthin' But a G Thang",
respectively. They both felt squeaky and brittle, I turned
coins into that? Well it was worth it, until my parents
wanted to hear what I bought on the car ride home. "Ready
to make an entrance, so back on up
('Cause you know about to rip shit up)" [awkward silence]

My first album: CD of Pearl Jam's "Vitalogy". That one had
a real classy feel to it, real book-like.

Not trying to be all retro , but the first album I bought
was on tape and it was totally krossed out by kris kross. I
was 7 :)

I quickly went onto other things, started getting Neubauten
Bootlegs when I was in grade 5 :D This was PRE INTERNET in
your typical small rural Canadian town.
