How many times have you seen Richard D. James live, either play behind some decks or spinning? I know its been discussed before, but we have some new blood on board. And it would be nice to hear truthful stories and such. Me, myself, I have not seen RDJ live :( |

I remember it quite vividly. The crowd erupted into a frenzy, completely wild, like animals, fucking manic. All of a sudden, I heard something I recognised, it was Girl/Boy song! OMG, I thought. But it was different, it was in a different key! Then, out of nowhere, he changed it back to the regular key and those familiar junglesque snarerushes assaulted my auditory canals. Again I thought, OMG, Fuck, what a legend! I started throwing my body around like madman until I hit my head against something and passed out. When I came by I realised that I wasn't really at the concert, that all this time I was merely listening to an mp3! An extended period of depression soon followed. |

Seen him at Finsbury Park in London, can't remember the name of the festival, but it had loads of others playing including Massive attack and a MetalHeads tent... RDJ was sat in a plastic Wendy house on stage the whole gig and we had the Donkey Rhubarb teddies dancing and fighting on stage.... was great, very nice sound, very techno'y glitchy. Most recent time was All Tomorrows Parties in Camber Sands - more of a drum and bass set this time. Was still great :) When I saw at University in '93, a mate and I were going to drop some acid and go see him in Birmingham (London)... soo glad we didn't, would've been messy. |

i was sat in a tent at a festival a few years back when mr james walked past me. annoyingly i was sat with a mate called richard, so i could have shouted 'richard' and then carried on chatting to my mate, but i didnt think of that till afterwards. |
