Bus attacks are creepy cos you feel you should be safe with all those people around. But here in uk people don't even meet eachother eye to eye because we're so desperately insecure and isolated. If something bad happens they pretend not to notice. There was news ages ago about someone who got stabbed by rudes for his phone, usuall story. But the stabbers got carried away and he was very badly hurt. People were ignoring it completely. This was on a bus. I'm sure it dosn't happen too often tho. |

All the fucking busses that get turned over by the drivers, and the bus companies cover the story up !!!!!!! I have almost boarded 2 buses that went off the road. One coming back from New York (the one I was going to take went off the road) and once coming back from Ottawa (my girlfriend turned on the tv and a bus leaving the terminal went off the road. The buses were packed, so they had to bring a second one. The one I didn't board went off the road). Why doesn't my transport minister do something about that ?! I'm just angry that they are taking a case that is such a random act, and make it seem like this will happen more often then not. It's an awful event, and the way the transport minister spins it to fit his political agenda , not to protect the people, but to have more funding for his deoartment. I wonder how much money/leverage he gets from the bus companies to ignore their mistakes ? Instead, let's require millions of dollars to give to some security company to install machines to detect if a random psycho is going to randomly stab a person then saw off his head. Handing out tax dollars for Corperate welfare. |
