that looked excellent. actually, that was awesome. that was
totally unexpected. in fact, my penis has just splintered
into 5 smaller penises and they are all shooting cum
everywhere

I can already tell this is going to be utter shit.

The fact that the Light Cycles are now flying around
everywhere like fuckin Motocross bikes in a George Lucas
film should give you a hint.

Also expect to see overused and lazy cgi.

about

Nope, actually only 15 minutes of computer animation were
used in the original tron, the rest was live action/real
sets that were hand painted to glow.

in fact all the "sets" were painted.

tron was shot entirely on a black sound stage

:D

They had Syd Mead and Moebius doing the concept art and
Wendy Carlos on synths!

on a painted black sound stage like the first one.

Tron was a movie that floored me as a kid (I saw it in the
theaters). Now, well... not so much.

if there's one movie i should be totally ok to update w/
CGI, it's this. wtf.

i could not have been more disinterested in a movie when i
saw Tron as a kid. i might as well have been watching Annie.
and yeah the writing is a little corner cutting, but i
appreciate it much more now. the casting was great. i mean
they got Boxleitner to play a stiff security program, nice.

That's what people said about StarWars and we all know how
that turned out, you can have better CGI but it's not
guaranteed to make it better art.

dont make tron look as it did - i think they should
literally show the amount of time and progress has been
revealed in the last years.

and light cycles should be upped to a 3-d dimension. not on
a 2-d plane anymore
