MODESELEKTOR: disappointing show. Gui Burrato who played
before them was louder and better.

STEREO MC's: lol. meh.

THE NOTWIST: great band! did not know any of their material
before.

MONSIEUR OIZO: The fucking bomb. New fav+^n

NEON NEON: very fun performance. did not know this band
before.

BATTLES: fav+++. the kids waiting for hot chip didn't seem
to enjoy it though.

HOT CHIP: meh++. didn't expect much, but this was really
boring.

Björk: oh yes++.

Glade 2008, i watched Autechre, but they were crap, i mean
their new set sounded weak, i don't know why they use those
custom speakers, the ones glade had provided were fine, if
they turned them up more. all you could hear was fucking
bass, kick drums, and nothing else. no synths could be heard
or details in the sound.

offline brocksamsung from the forest (United States) on 2008-07-21 16:38 [#02223489]

thats because there are no detail in the sounds they make
with the elektron boxes. it's flat ass shit. like flat soda
pop.

every time I hear Quaristice i think "wtf" ... it sounds
really good in other aspects tho. I suppose the detail is
with in some other aspect other than kit design. what I am
looking for in it is that bright ass shiny shit with a good
stereo image like EP5 and LP7.. or whatever they were.

chenc9 is the jam tho. holy shit. slow that fucker down
about %30 and you got a mother fucking jam.

there IS are no can has.

me thinks maybe this is because they had written most of it
on live sound systems and wut not. and like how they say
their live set is more about playing the acoustics of a
room.

dudes get soo woofed out on it.
